A Florida Wind Mitigation Inspection documents the wind-resistant features of your home — roof shape, roof-to-wall connections, roof deck attachment, and impact-resistant openings — and the findings go on the official Florida OIR-B1-1802 Wind Mitigation Verification Form that many insurance carriers use to calculate windstorm premium credits.
